Intermediate & Elite Training Classes: For Ages 12-18

The Intermediate and Elite training programs at T3 Performance help middle school and high school athletes take their games to the next level. Our coaches utilize research-backed training methods to support strength and power development for all athletes, from beginners to advanced.

  • In Intermediate (Ages 12-14), Middle School and early High School Athletes learn fundamental movements for long-term success. This is the age when many athletes develop motor patterns they’ll have throughout their lives. Therefore we train in a controlled group setting, with our staff of certified coaches monitoring form and providing feedback.

  • In Elite (Ages 15-18), we provide High School Athletes with the coaching they need to excel past their competition. This training program places an even greater emphasis on building strength, speed and power. Sessions are progressive for long-term development, and are catered to each individual athlete’s sports and needs.

The result is more ability, confidence and impact on the field or court of the sports they love.

We offer classes every day of the week, all year round. Whether your athlete’s goals are to build muscle and power in the off-season or to maintain their strength and mobility in-season, our coaching staff can tailor the training experience to meet their needs.

Athletes considering Intermediate or Elite can test the waters with a free one-on-one movement assessment led by one of our certified coaches. They will evaluate your athlete’s abilities and needs, and build a program customized for their specific sports and goals.

As a high school athlete, the performance and skill training from T3 has enabled him to compete so well that he is receiving college scholarship offers.

What happens during T3’s Athlete Training Classes?

A training session for our Elite, Intermediate or Combined groups usually includes

  • Dynamic Warm-Up: Athletes prepare their bodies for performance through moves that activate muscles and improve mobility.

  • Speed Training: Class members engage in sprints and other high-performance speed and agility drills to help them move more economically.

  • Power Block: We train players to be more explosive through proven techniques.

  • Foundational Strength: Athletes perform strength lifts under supervision, with technique and form being first priority.

  • Athlete-Specific Modifications: We adapt sessions for individuals who are in-season or out-of-season depending on their sport or other goals.

Our daughter trains with Heather C. at T3 and we couldn’t be happier. She has provided her with the tools to be successful even outside of sports. it has been amazing to see how her confidence has grown.

FAQs about Intermediate and Elite Athlete Training

T3 Athlete Training Success Stories

“Each trainer at T3 takes time to help athletes in their group, push them to be their best, and truly cares about their growth.”

-Molly Harrison, Volleyball, University of Cincinnati

I’ve been training at T3 for almost 7 years and they have been a huge component for my development in my professional career. The coaches take the time to work with you on an individual level and push you in the weight room to reach your goals.”

-Tim Gettinger, formerly New York Rangers organization, currently Detroit Red Wings organization.

“My favorite thing about T3 is their emphasis on in-season lifting. I think most young athletes, including myself, growing up do not understand the necessity of working out in-season especially as a one-sport athlete. I began to realize the importance of year-round lifting, especially in injury prevention and not losing strength/speed that I built in the off season — which can be easy to do when in season.”

-Sam Wiene, Soccer, University of Houston

“The trainers challenge you in the weight room, but also explain the benefits of what we are doing and how it will benefit us in the long run. They want to see you grow and be your best.”

-Peyton Rimko, Soccer, University of Kentucky
